Laura Danbom bonded with Casey at a rollerblading birthday party in 1994, and they’ve been best friends ever since. Laura attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and holds degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Advertising and Marketing. She currently works as a Global Marketing Manager based in Issaquah, WA. She was rejected from American Idol twice, received the 2023 Nun-Con Miss Congeniality Award, and prides herself on being a Chief Happiness Officer at work. Laura will happily share that she loves Casey like her firstborn.

Alex and Solomon have been best friends since middle school, growing up together in the early 2000s around the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. What started as an easy friendship built on shared neighborhoods, music, comedy, and 'nerding' out on computers turned into a lifelong bond rooted in showing up for one another. Over the years, Alex has been a constant presence through every phase of life, offering perspective, support, and plenty of laughs along the way. He is deeply honored to stand beside Solomon as he and Casey tie the knot.

Chanel met Casey back in elementary school, and they’ve been best friends ever since—proof that some friendships survive awkward haircuts and questionable fashion choices. Chanel has been married for 18 years and is the proud mom of three beautiful daughters. When she’s not juggling family life, she’s busy working her magic as a floral designer, coordinator, and behind-the-scenes boss (aka Manager of Operations) for an event planning and floral company.

Twenty years ago, as we suffered through Ms. Lert’s 8th-grade math class, Ahlyzik did something decent—he handed over his Game Boy to Solomon. No strings attached. Just a kid sharing what he had. It’s the kind of small, human gesture that, for reasons we don’t fully understand, can change everything. What came next was a friendship built on the things that mattered when you’re young and broke: computers built from scavenged parts, video games played until dawn, RC cars souped up and destroyed in parking lots. The stuff neckbeards dream of. These days, Ahlyzik travels through the world like he’s got nothing to prove. But some of the best moments? They’re still with Solomon—tearing through the Baja desert on dirt bikes, eating dust (and probably questionable tacos), and reminding each other why they started this whole thing in the first place. Turns out, lending someone your Game Boy in middle school can buy you a lifetime.

Brittany is Casey’s eldest sister and, therefore, has had the pleasure and honor of knowing and loving the bride-to-be from the VERY beginning. She is currently in the “raising small humans” chapter of her life as a dedicated and hardworking mom to Hayley (8) and Hudson (4). Her days are full of homeschooling, sports practices, classes, and learning adventures, all while managing her home and yard, caring for her sweet pup, Sunny, and tending to 12 backyard chickens. Brittany also enjoys using her green thumb to grow food for her family, teaching Sunday school, and volunteering at their church—often with very little adult interaction (haha). While her future may include authoring books, sharing her story on podcasts, or helping others in a professional capacity, Brittany is currently focused on pouring into her children, family, home, church, and community. She truly cherishes this season of life and loves soaking up time with her amazing kids, who might just teach her as much as she teaches them (hopefully in good balance!). Fun facts: Brittany has taken flight lessons, jumped out of planes, and sang lead in bands around the Seattle area, where she can still nail a mean Janis Joplin cover. In her rare spare time, she’s often finding ways to serve her extended family, friends, and local community. She is beyond excited and deeply honored to be witnessing and taking part in the beautiful and blessed union of her dear sister, Casey, and her incredible partner, Solomon.

Kevyn is the mother of Rowan (flower girl) and Phoenix (ring security). She is a social worker at her local hospital and primarily works on the Behavioral Health Unit/Psych Unit. In her spare time, Kevyn enjoys beating her husband at card games, spending time with her kids, training her dog, Lucy, and meeting up with friends for the occasional girls’ night! Her favorite wedding song to get down to is “The Wobble,” and she expects to see you out on the dance floor!

Vaughn and Solomon became friends in middle school, riding bikes around the neighborhood. That quickly evolved into fixing bikes, rollerblading, skateboarding, R/C cars, and anything else with wheels. If there was a way to modify something that was intended to be safe and make it faster and more dangerous to use, Vaughn and Solomon were determined to figure it out. These days, the appetite for danger has changed. What hasn’t is Vaughn and Solomon being there to support each other, help each other figure out life, and grill the best possible steaks.

Haniah is Solomon’s daughter. She is 12, in seventh grade, and is a competitive dancer. She is funny, kind, and outgoing. Solomon is someone she can always go to when she needs to talk. To her cousins, he is known as the greatest uncle in history—"Uncle Sasa" and "Funcle." Haniah always enjoys cooking and playing Roblox with her dad.

Rowan is Casey's niece! She is currently 10 years old and in 5th grade. Rowan participates in choir and Taekwondo, and in her free time, she loves to read and draw. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Lucy, and helping her little brother with schoolwork. She has recently started teaching herself sign language, and when she grows up, she wants to be a teacher!

Hayley is Casey's niece! She is currently 8 years old and in 3rd grade. Hayley loves her family and friends, as well as her sweet puppy, Sunny. Like her aunty, she loves dogs of all kinds, and she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up! She is a competitive Taekwondo athlete with a purple belt, and she is a wonderful big sister to her 4-year-old brother, Hudson.

Phoenix is Casey's nephew! He is currently 6 years old and in kindergarten. Phoenix enjoys participating in Taekwondo, playing video games, and spending time with his dog, Lucy. If he could be any superhero, he would want to be Spider-Man!
