They could say it started with them... But we know that isn't true. It began with God directing their steps, just as they prayed He would.

In December of 2023, Solomon and Casey were completely full living very happy, busy, single lives - completely unaware of each other's existence. But there was a 'stirring' in their spirits for more.

Casey had dreamt of being a wife and a mother since she could remember, and Solomon knew that God was calling him to become a husband. This divine 'poking' in their spirits led them to each make profiles on the dating app - Hinge.

Mid-January 2024, Casey was doing her due-diligence before bed to go through the app and see if there could be any potential suitors. She kept coming back to a profile she found to be quite intriguing. This man had depth, intelligence, he was a practicing Christian, he enjoyed social events with friends and.. he rode a motorcycle! Casey, seeing a prompt Solomon had written about the importance of breaking down the stigma of therapy for men's mental health, quickly pressed the heart icon to love that comment. Solomon being quick to respond, immediately reached out to connect with Casey.

Solomon felt something hit his spirit, as he said to himself, "I think that is my wife." Casey however, not being the most speedy to respond to messages, got busy with the week and left Solomon waiting for a response for 3 days!! Come on, Casey!!

So, 3 days later on a Friday evening at the end of the work week, after dance ministry rehearsal had just ended, Casey checked her Hinge account to see that this match had responded! She quickly responded saying, "I am so sorry for my delay. The week got away from me, How are you doing?" (Mind you, this is at about 10:30pm.) Solomon was in bed and about to doze off when his phone buzzed. He turned to see who could be messaging him so late, and it was her! Casey had finally responded.

Solomon sat up, ruffled his face to become more alert , thinking, "Now is my chance" He quickly responded mentioning that he understood her gross delay (so kind), and they continued texting back and forth. Eventually Solomon asked if Casey would be open to a phone call, and Casey quickly agreed!

The conversation flowed so easily. Getting to know each other was exciting, and the humor matched exactly, laughing every couple of minutes. Before they knew it, 3 hours had flown by! Solomon asked if Casey would be open to a hike the following day, and she enthusiastically agreed.

The next day as Casey and Solomon were getting ready to meet up, Solomon decided he wanted a more secluded and scenic hike, so he switched locations. Casey being wary, decided to text her dear friend Tiff her location... You know, just in case he was a lunatic, lol.

As they stepped out of their cars, it was chemistry at first sight! Casey was slightly surprised by how tall Solomon was, and Solomon was disappointed that Casey didn't have "a tiny strong hand" (if you don't know the story, just ask! Haha) Nevertheless, the two went on a beautiful hike as they continued to chat and learn all about each other. At the end of the hike, they both wanted to continue their time together, so they grabbed a late lunch at a local Italian restaurant, and then eventually ventured on to a game bar where they played games and sang karaoke. Solomon felt slighted that Casey didn't mention her professionalism in singing, but that is besides the point! The two were enamored and over the moon with this new interest that had come into their lives.

The next several months were easy, and the couple was making plans to see each other multiple times throughout the week. They went roller skating, ice skating, painting ceramics, red carpet events, shooting pool, going bowling, and in general taking the opportunity to dive deeper into each other’s lives. They really enjoyed getting to know each other’s families and friends. While there was a very brief challenging period, Solomon and Casey powered through the storm by continuing to press into the Lord, and seek His wisdom for understanding.

The two have practically been inseparable ever since! In September of 2024, Solomon came up to Seattle to meet Casey's family and best friends. While Casey was momentarily away from Solomon, he snuck the opportunity to ask Mr. and Mrs. O'Neill for Casey's hand in marriage. Both Dan and Cherry exuberantly gave their permission to Solomon.

Solomon sprung a surprise on Casey in December of 2024 asking if she would like to go ring shopping! At first she didn't believe him, but he patiently, with a smile, kept asking her. She knew the big day was going to come soon!!

In February of 2025, Casey and Solomon flew out to Hawaii to see a show that Solo's brother Leon was the Creative Director for. At this time, Casey had the immense pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Fuller! It was a wonderful time connecting and being all together. Although Casey was admittedly nervous, she did alright and the family welcomed her with open arms.

In April of 2025, Casey and Solomon were getting ready to go on their first major trip overseas to the Philippines. Casey had a sneaky suspicion that the big moment she had always dreamt of was coming, so she made sure to have her nails and eyelashes done. Ladies, you know what we're talking about!

The couple traveled to Manila to meet Solo's dear friends Marina and Vanessa. There they flew to Cebu for adventuring, and then eventually to Boracay for spa time and relaxation. As the last evening was coming to a close, Casey was feeling a bit saddened that she would have to continue to wait to be asked to be Solomon's wife, but she put it out of her head and continued to enjoy the gorgeous views and tropical weather.

As the group moved towards a restaurant for their last meal together, Casey was slightly confused as they didn't end up at a restaurant at all, but back down at the private beach. "Everyone wants to take pictures of this last sunset!" Vanessa said. So we all proceeded to get out of the van and step onto the beach. As everyone began taking photos of the water and the sunset, the cameras unexpectedly moved from ocean to pointing directly at Casey. Casey's heart began to thump quickly. "Right this way Ma'am" a gentle voice said as the hotel attendant guided Casey to a glowing cave.

As Casey stepped towards the glow, she saw a river of lights, pink shells, and flowers winding through the cave. At the end of the tunnel was a giant illuminated heart with a beautiful dinner table set for two. Off to the right hand side, there in lights said "Will you marry me?" Casey just about fell over from the intense joy she felt all over.. and also her two sprained ankles (you can ask her about that too, lol). There was Solomon, standing next to the heart, looking directly at Casey with a kind of confident smirk that said, "Got 'em!" He knew he had done good!! And he did.. He really did.

Solomon proceeded to get down on one knee, for the first time looking up at Casey (lol), and asking her if she would marry him. Casey paused to take the moment in, thanking God, thanking all of those who had prayed for her, and through tears of happiness, Casey said yes!! She knew with every fiber of her being that this man really loved her, and he is exactly who God had in mind as her partner, her protector, friend and husband.

In the spirit of their engagement on the island of Boracay, Casey and Solomon are ecstatic to have your attendance at their beach themed wedding. They truly and sincerely appreciated your blessings as they move into this next phase of their lives together... Two becoming one, and O'Neill becoming Fuller.
